Program Management Senior Lead

Citi is looking for a Program Management Senior Lead to drive large-scale, cross-functional data programs at the heart of its Global Markets business. Based in London and embedded within the Markets Program Execution team — a centralised change management function responsible for end-to-end delivery of major transformation programs across products, geographies, and client segments — this role offers the opportunity to shape strategic direction, align senior stakeholders, and translate complex data into decisions that matter. If you bring Capital Markets knowledge, structured thinking, and a track record of delivering in fast-paced, global environments, this is a role where your work will have real and measurable impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end program management for strategic data initiatives across the Global Markets business, partnering with stakeholders in Markets, Finance, and Technology to align delivery with business objectives.
  • Translate complex data findings into clear, compelling narratives that enable senior leaders to make well-informed, evidence-based decisions.
  • Define high-level strategic requirements and produce documentation that bridges business needs and actionable delivery outcomes.
  • Coordinate cross-functional planning, prioritisation, and escalation of project deliverables in close collaboration with technology and business partners.
  • Champion the adoption of strategic data solutions across functions, ensuring stakeholders at all levels understand and are aligned on the target vision.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on data within the Markets domain, providing guidance that keeps business initiatives consistent with firm strategy and best practices.
  • Identify, escalate, and manage program risks and issues, ensuring mitigation strategies are developed and executed to protect delivery timelines.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
