Global Markets Claims Performance Lead – Claims Shared Services

Specific Responsibilities Include

  • Global Markets Performance Reporting & Strategy

    • Lead the design and execution of Global Markets Claims MI & reporting aligned to enterprise standards and governance frameworks
    • Develop and prioritise reporting strategies that transform raw claims data into actionable intelligence for Global Markets Claims leadership
    • Align Global Markets reporting outputs with enterprise MI frameworks, ensuring consistency while meeting market-specific needs
    • Support the Global Head of MI in delivering a unified global claims performance narrative
  • Executive Influence and Decision Support (Global Markets Focus)

    • Translate complex London Market claims datasets into concise, decision-ready insights for senior Global Markets stakeholders
    • Provide forward-looking analysis including claims trends, thematic insights and emerging risk indicators
    • Deliver performance commentary aligned to portfolio management, underwriting cycles and reserving insights
    • Support senior leadership forums with Global Markets-specific insights and performance narratives
  • London Market & Regulatory Reporting Excellence

    • Own delivery of Global Markets claims reporting aligned to Lloyd’s Claims Management Principles and market data requirements
    • Ensure accurate, timely and controlled reporting across Lloyd’s and London Market platforms (including CRS, Insights Hub, ECF2, IMR, IRIS, DOCOsoft and related systems)
    • Deliver regulatory and market reporting including:
      • Lloyd’s data calls and performance returns
      • Market benchmarking and peer analysis
      • Compliance and audit-related reporting outputs
    • Partner with Compliance and QA functions in London and across the Enterprise to ensure adherence to regulatory expectations and audit readiness
    • Support remediation and continuous improvement of market-facing reporting outputs and data quality issues

  • Governance, Data Quality and Control

    • Apply enterprise MI governance standards across Global Markets reporting
    • Ensure KPI definitions, data consistency and version control align with global frameworks
    • Establish robust oversight of data quality, with clear ownership and escalation paths
    • Work closely with Data & Analytics to improve data mapping, structure and usability across Global Markets claims datasets
  • Performance Insight, Analysis and Continuous Improvement

    • Develop and maintain KPI frameworks specific to Global Markets Claims performance
    • Conduct deep-dive analysis into claims trends, large losses and portfolio segments to identify root causes and improvement opportunities
    • Integrate claims data with underwriting and portfolio metrics to support cycle management and strategic decision-making
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reporting effectiveness
  • Transformation and Reporting Innovation

    • Partner with Data & Analytics to enhance reporting capabilities, automation and visualization
    • Leverage Power BI and other tools to deliver intuitive, user-centric dashboards and insights
    • Support ongoing data transformation initiatives impacting Global Markets claims reporting
    • Ensure reporting solutions are scalable, sustainable and aligned to enterprise architecture
  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Capability Development

    • Collaborate cross-functionally with Claims, Compliance, Legal, Actuarial and Operations teams
    • Act as a key interface between Global Markets Claims and enterprise MI & Insights
    • Design and deliver training and communication to improve stakeholder understanding and use of MI outputs
    • Support Claims Shared Services initiatives to enhance service delivery and reporting maturity

Key Global Markets Reporting Responsibilities

  • Global Markets claims performance MI & Insights (weekly, monthly and quarterly)
  • Lloyd’s and London Market reporting (CRS, Insights as required Hub, market data submissions)
  • Large loss, complex claim and event-driven reporting
  • Portfolio and cycle management insights for Global Markets Claims
  • Regulatory returns, compliance reporting and audit support
  • Operational performance, QA and compliance metrics (in alignment with London leadership)
  • Data quality, control and remediation reporting
  • Contribution to enterprise claims MI outputs where Global Markets data is required
  • Global Markets DCA MI & Insights (weekly, monthly, and quarterly)

Skills

  • Proven experience within a Lloyd’s / London Market insurer, with strong specialty claims exposure
  • Deep understanding of London Market systems and processes (CRS, Insights Hub, ECF2, IMR, IRIS, DOCOsoft, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of Lloyd’s Claims Management Principles, reporting standards and regulatory expectations
  • Advanced experience with business analytics and visualization tools (Power BI, Excel, etc.)
  • Exceptional analytical capability with experience handling complex, multi-source datasets
  • Demonstrated ability to create and deliver actionable management insights
  • Experience integrating claims data with underwriting, actuarial and portfolio metrics
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including senior leadership engagement
  • Experience operating in a matrixed, global environment with dual reporting lines
  • Ability to influence, challenge and support decision-making through data-driven insights
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational and prioritisation skills

Additional Information

  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment (2-3 days in office)
  • Some travel may be required
