Global Markets Summer Analyst Programme

Through our Capital Markets Summer Analyst programme, you will get direct work experience and exposure to the Global Markets business at CIBC. CIBC offers a broad suite of capital markets trading products and services to corporate, government and institutional clients around the world.

As a Global Markets Summer Analyst you will have the opportunity to:
- Gain exposure to different asset classes by working alongside experienced sales and trading professionals
- Assist in idea generation, financial markets analysis, and risk monitoring
- Attend and contribute to team meetings
- Buddy programme
Key Requirements:
- Student in a finance/quantitative discipline
- Must be in penultimate or final year of degree
- Strong academic skills, a minimum of A-Level grades A*AA (or equivalent) and should be averaging at least a 2:1 through university course.
- Proficient in at least one programming language: Python, Java, C# or C++
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and numerical skills
- A team player who can communicate complex ideas simply and effectively
- Must be available between June 2027 - September 2027 when the programme is running
- Fluent in English
- Must have the right to work in the UK
