Job Description
As the Global Media Effectiveness Manager at COS, you will play a key role in contributing to the strategic measurement and optimisation of our global full-funnel paid media strategy. With a strong focus on data and insights, you will ensure our media investment delivers measurable impact and supports both brand and commercial objectives.
Joining the Global Media team, in Marketing & Communications, and in close partnership with Data & Analytics and media agency teams, you will be responsible for evolving our media measurement approach, as well as interpreting data from a range of measurement tools to extract key learnings and actionable insights. You’ll use these insights to inform global media planning decisions and help shape a more effective, insight-led paid media strategy.
What you will do:
Paid Media Effectiveness
- Manage and evolve the global paid media measurement framework, including media measurement methodologies, KPIs, reporting standards, learning agendas, and experimentation
- Establish a global learning and experimentation agenda, assessing paid media effectiveness through incrementality testing, lift studies, and Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM)
- Support high-impact experiments that challenge channel assumptions and improve media investment decisions through evidence-based learnings
- Drive the adoption of MMM and broader effectiveness insights across markets, ensuring insights and recommendations are used to inform market media planning
Paid Media Reporting
- Manage the global paid media reporting ecosystem, including the creation of scorecards, dashboards, executive reporting, benchmarking, insights delivery, and reporting templates
- Ensure consistency in reporting frameworks, KPIs, and measurement standards across markets, enabling effective performance evaluation, benchmarking, and decision-making
- Translate complex data outputs into clear, compelling narratives for senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders
- Provide regular reporting and strategic recommendations to global and regional stakeholders, linking paid media performance to business and commercial outcomes
Paid Media Budget Setting & Investment Planning
- Support media investment and annual budget setting work with agency partners and internal stakeholders to determine optimal media spends and splits per market
- Utilize brand, customer, and marketing data to create evidence-based, localized budget recommendations to inform regional paid media investment strategies
- Support quarterly reforecasting and any shifts in investment through the application of MMM insight, customer acquisition KPIs, and other media metrics

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
