Global Meetings Sourcing Lead

Jabil Inc. is seeking a Global Meetings Sourcing Lead to strategically manage and optimize all aspects of meeting and event sourcing worldwide. This role involves leveraging market expertise and strong negotiation skills to secure optimal venues and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high-quality experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end sourcing for global meetings and events, including identifying, evaluating, and selecting venues and suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts with hotels to achieve favorable terms and cost savings.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Utilize in-depth market knowledge to identify industry trends, best practices, and innovative solutions for meetings and events.
- Manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously, ensuring timely execution and adherence to budget and quality standards.
- Implement and maintain organized records of all sourcing activities, contracts, and vendor information.
- Apply technical knowledge of event technologies and platforms to enhance sourcing strategies and event execution.
- Optimize time management to prioritize tasks effectively and meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years’ experience in global meeting planning
- Proven experience in contract negotiations within the meetings and events industry.
- Strong market knowledge of global event venues, suppliers, and industry trends.
- Exceptional multitasking abilities, capable of managing numerous projects concurrently.
- Demonstrated expertise in sourcing and procurement processes.
- Excellent task organization skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Solid technical knowledge relevant to event management and sourcing platforms.
- Highly effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Cvent and Coupa experience preferred
- Travel required
