About the team:
Our Global Mobility function is fundamental to delivering Diageo’s future talent and development needs. We combine strategic business partnering, technical expertise and service delivery to design and manage a global mobility programme that enables talent to move compliantly and efficiently while ensuring a focus on employee experience.
About the role:
As a Global Mobility Business Partner, you will act as the trusted partner to business leaders and HR teams, with responsibility for managing international moves within your Region and/or Function. You'll help shape mobility solutions that balance business objectives, employee experience, cost and compliance while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
Role Responsibilities:
- Partner with HR and business leaders to provide strategic advice on global mobility at a business and individual level
- Manage a Region and/Function, guiding mobility decisions from initial consultation through to successful delivery
- Assess mobility requirements and recommend appropriate solutions balancing business need, cost, compliance and employee experience.
- Build trusted relationships partnering with Reward, HR and mobility operations to optimise assignment outcomes, resolve complex issues and apply judgement.
- Ensure mobility decisions align with policy, governance, risk and business objectives.
- Develop regional technical expertise and relationships with vendors to maximise employee experience and mitigate risk
- Work closely with the Programme & Policy and Service Delivery Partners to enhance and evolve Global Mobility at Diageo

This is an opportunity to influence talent mobility across one of the world's leading consumer goods companies. You'll work with senior stakeholders, advise on complex international mobility challenges and help shape the future of Global Mobility at Diageo, with a focus on development of mobile talent and continuous improvement.
Experience / skills required:
- Significant experience in Global Mobility, primarily in an in-house GM function in a global matrix organisation.
- Strong business partnering and stakeholder management capability, with ability to identify and lead change
- Good technical knowledge with a broad understanding of international moves, compliance, tax and immigration considerations, and global mobility policies.
- Excellent judgement, with the ability to balance business priorities, employee experience and risk when recommending mobility solutions.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to advise senior stakeholders and build trusted relationships.
- A collaborative and continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to work across multiple teams to deliver required mobility outcomes.
- An adaptable and flexible approach. Able to adjust quickly according to changing demands and priorities, drawing on experience and expertise.
- Excellent communication skills combined with high attention to detail and accuracy, with analytical capability.
- Experience of using Global Mobility and HR systems
