Global Mobility Lead | Central London | Hybrid
Central London | 4 days office / 1 day home
Monday–Friday | 9:00am–5:30pm
We are looking for an experienced Global Mobility Lead to join our growing HR & Global Mobility function and take ownership of international mobility across multiple European jurisdictions. This is an exciting opportunity for a Global Mobility specialist who wants more than case management. You'll have the opportunity to shape and build the Global Mobility function, develop scalable processes and provide expert advice across international assignments, immigration, cross-border employment and mobility compliance. With international projects continuing to grow, you'll play a key role in ensuring the business is prepared to mobilise employees quickly, compliantly and effectively across Europe.
What you'll be responsible for
- Managing international assignments and mobility cases across multiple European jurisdictions.
- Leading visa, work permit and residence permit processes.
- Advising on cross-border employment, secondments and international deployments.
- Providing specialist guidance on European employment, labour law and mobility requirements.
- Assessing the interaction between employment, immigration, tax and social security considerations.
- Supporting mobilisation into new countries and projects.
- Researching country-specific requirements and developing practical mobility strategies and guidance.
- Identifying compliance risks and ensuring key deadlines and permit expiries are proactively managed.
- Managing relationships with external immigration, legal, tax and relocation providers.
- Developing policies, processes, templates, country guides and mobility trackers.
- Establishing KPIs and reporting to provide visibility across the Global Mobility function.
- Identifying opportunities to improve, automate and scale Global Mobility processes.
- Working closely with HR, Finance, Recruitment, Operations and project teams.

What we're looking for
You'll be an experienced Global Mobility, International HR, Immigration, Employment Law or international assignments professional with:
- Strong practical knowledge of European employment and labour law.
- Strong knowledge of European immigration, work permit and residence permit requirements.
- Experience managing international assignments across multiple European countries.
- Experience with cross-border employment and mobility matters.
- A good understanding of the interaction between employment, immigration, tax and social security.
- Strong risk and compliance awareness.
- Experience working with external immigration, legal, tax or relocation providers.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A proactive, independent approach and the confidence to provide solutions and recommendations.

Experience within construction, engineering, infrastructure or another international project-based environment would be highly advantageous.
