Job Description
Vialto Partners is looking for an English and Japanese bilingual Global Mobility Tax Manager to join a rapidly growing Japanese-speaking team in the UK. We have a strong Japanese network of clients and are looking for an individual with experience on a broad range of Global Mobility Tax matters who is keen to develop and progress in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The individual would be comfortable managing client engagements and projects, delivering across a broad range of complex areas, helping drive key team initiatives, and supporting the development of the wider team.

Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of a variety of client engagements, varying from large global businesses through to smaller businesses with an expanding global footprint.
- Providing clients with tax advice across a range of consulting areas, including tax residence, cross-border moves, tax equalization, remote working, and commuting arrangements.
- Proactively engaging with clients and the market to develop new opportunities, managing and delivering work to a high standard, and meeting deadlines.
- Reviewing work and coaching and developing junior colleagues.
- Managing and developing client relationships through business development activities.
- Staying up to date with evolving tax legislation and best practice, and keeping clients informed of any changes.
What Will Be Expected of You in This Role
- Building and nurturing strong client and colleague relationships to foster long-term partnerships and drive business growth within our Japanese client network.
- Working within a team both globally and nationally, whilst also being able to work independently.
- Working with cross-functional teams and managing global mobility tax projects.

- Strong bilingual English & Japanese language skills, written and verbal.
Qualifications
- The candidate will have practical experience of the areas outlined above with a strong background in UK tax.
- Certification(s) Preferred: ACA / ATT / CTA (or breadth of knowledge equivalent to CTA)
