Who we’re looking for
We are seeking a motivated and analytical individual to join our Management Information (MI) team under Platform Business Management. This role is ideal for candidates who have an interest in technology, enjoy learning and working with different automation and data visualisation tools, and are keen to learn how data supports business decisions.
The MI team is responsible for the collection, analysis, and presentation of data that supports decision-making for senior management. We use data to assess business performance, inform strategic decisions, and enhance operational efficiency. We work with data from all over the business including finance, headcount and risk and from across all teams in the Global Operating Platform.
The successful candidate will support the team in interpreting information, helping to create Power BI reports that are used for decision making by senior management. Engaging with various departments at Schroders, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of how key performance indicators are identified and measured, enabling you to contribute meaningfully to our operational excellence.
You’ll need to enjoy learning new skills and working in a busy environment with tight deadlines. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who is flexible, willing to learn, and ready to contribute to the success of the team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
