About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Global Operational Excellence Team in Energy Systems Business Area Center. You will report to the Global Operational Excellence Lead, while working closely with the global network of Operational Excellence Managers, Operational Excellence Navigators, and our leaders.

As part of the Global Operational Excellence Team, you will drive step-change improvements in operational performance, delivering greater value to customers, employees, DNV Energy Systems, and society. This will be done by building a continuous improvement culture, empowering teams, and leading key improvement initiatives to achieve measurable benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Global Operational Excellence Lead to identify, prioritize, and launch Operational Excellence pilots across DNV Energy Systems
  • Provide proactive coaching on Lean Six Sigma management, process improvement, and problem-solving to manager- and employee-led improvement pilots and initiatives, and support as required
  • Collaborate closely with a global team of Operational Excellence Managers and share lessons learned
  • Support our Regions, Global Business Units and the BA Center in succeeding with their Operational Excellence journeys
  • Lead and proactively drive BA strategic improvement initiatives
  • Assist in refining and tailoring our Operational Excellence Framework (e.g., playbooks, standards, tools, templates, learning materials, etc.)
  • Occasional travel will be required as the role will support teams and colleagues across DNV Energy Systems

About You

  • Proven experience in operational improvements and change management
  • Proven experience in delivering coaching (or a strong interest)
  • Proven experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or similar methodologies, is an advantage but not a prerequisite
  • Experience from business consulting is an advantage, but not a prerequisite
  • Experience working in an international environment
  • Self-motivated, proactive, resilient, and able to cope with high pressure situations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of both physical and virtual teams
