Global Pension Manager

Description
- Manage global pension schemes, ensuring they meet regulatory and compliance standards.
- Oversee the administration of pension plans across different regions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to ensure effective pension delivery.
- Monitor and report on the performance of pension funds and related investments.
- Provide expert guidance on pension-related matters to stakeholders.
- Keep up to date with changes in pension regulations and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Develop and implement policies for efficient pension scheme management.
- Handle queries related to pensions from employees and management teams.

Profile
A successful Global Pension Manager should have:
- Strong experience in managing pension schemes, ideally in a global context.
- Knowledge of UK pension regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- 8 years pensions experience is desirable.
Job Offer
- Salary £80,000 base, dependent on the level of experience.
- £6,000 car allowance.
- £2,000 travel allowance.
- Permanent position in London (3 days in London office).

Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience working with post-retirement and other benefits and providing guidance to the providers to ensure accurate administration of the plans.
- Practical knowledge and application of UK and Ireland pension and post-retirement benefits (DB, DC, Mixed Benefit Pension schemes, etc).
- Deals well with complexity and ambiguity and prioritises strategically.
- Business focused, commercial and pragmatic - a creative problem solver.
- Operates independently and is comfortable taking the lead and being accountable.
- Produces work that is high quality, high impact - attention to detail is critical.
- Collaborates well and effectively manages stakeholders.
- Curious and emphatic.
- Simplification mindset, evidenced by demonstrable examples of process improvement and automation.
