The Opportunity

We are partnering with a complex, international organisation to appoint a Global Director of People Partnering & Change Delivery into a pivotal senior leadership role. Operating at enterprise level, this role will lead the organisation's strategic People Partnering and Change Delivery agenda, working closely with the senior leadership team to ensure business priorities, workforce requirements and organisational challenges are translated into a clear and commercially focused people strategy.

Joining at a significant point of organisational transformation, you will play a central role in shaping how the People function supports the organisation as it evolves. This includes driving a more strategic and integrated approach to people partnering, building organisational capability and ensuring the people implications of major transformation programmes are effectively understood and delivered.

This is a broad, highly influential role for an established HR leader who can operate strategically while ensuring plans translate into tangible organisational outcomes.

The Role

As Global Director of People Partnering & Change Delivery, you will:

  • Lead the strategic People Partnering agenda, working directly with senior leaders to translate organisational priorities into enterprise-wide people and workforce interventions.
  • Shape and continually evolve the organisation's People Strategy, ensuring it reflects both current priorities and future workforce requirements.
  • Lead global People Partnering and Change Delivery teams, setting the direction and standards for strategic partnering and business-facing people support.
  • Translate organisational strategy into integrated people plans spanning workforce, leadership, talent, capability, culture and organisational performance.
  • Establish and lead an internal people consultancy capability, providing specialist expertise to support strategic initiatives and complex organisational change.
  • Ensure the people implications of transformation are identified early and effectively managed, including workforce impacts, leadership capability, stakeholder engagement, change adoption and organisational readiness.
  • Shape and prioritise demand for people interventions, ensuring resources and expertise are deployed against the areas of greatest organisational value.
  • Work across specialist People functions to provide senior stakeholders with coherent, joined-up solutions rather than operating through individual HR disciplines.
  • Use workforce data, organisational insight and external trends to influence strategic decision-making and workforce planning.
  • Build leadership capability and accountability for people leadership, organisational performance and the successful delivery of change.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
