The Role
As the Global People Partner Specialist, you will partner with key stakeholders across S&P Global Market Intelligence (MI) and S&P Global Chief Client Office (CCO) to support the deployment of core people processes and ensure the people plans and priorities across MI align with our overall People strategy. This role will be part of a broader distributed People Team who work in support of the division’s strategic objectives and day-to-day operations.
Impact And Responsibilities
This position provides direct People (HR) management and support for assigned business units/teams. Day-to-day the position maintains responsibility for a range of activities focused on successfully engaging, developing, rewarding, and retaining talent. The role spans across all business lines and shared capabilities across MI, and provides the opportunity to work in a highly matrixed and evolving environment.
The Successful Candidate Will
- Partner with Global People Partners on talent development, rewards & recognition and performance management initiatives to ensure on-time, on-target delivery.
- Maintain data integrity and documentation.
- Assist in preparing presentation materials and communications for various business stakeholders.
- Facilitate implementation of training & development programs and strategies, utilizing global internal resources and external resources as appropriate, to support improved business performance.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and performance improvement.
- Execute strategic people priorities to implement the client group's business plan and manage the human side of executing business strategy by aligning people with business decisions.
- Partner with internal specialists, COE's, and external resources, to drive human capital plans and programs in a fast-paced environment.
- Ad-hoc People Partner requests and projects (e.g., mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures support).
What We Are Looking For
Basic Required Qualifications:
- Experience in Human Resources preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in an HR or business-related field or equivalent experience.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment. High tolerance of ambiguity, with an agile, forward-looking, self-starter mindset.
- Strong analytical and data visualization skills; should be able to understand and leverage complex global data dashboards with foresight.
- Skilled at planning and organizing. Aptitude to deliver on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient prioritization skills, organization skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Effective communication skills, for both written and verbal communication to a wide range of audiences.
- Willingness and aptitude to be an ambassador of change in a complex, fast-paced and results-driven global organization.
- Experienced with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; experience with coding languages preferred.
- Ability to work effectively across teams, overcome stakeholder resistance and navigate a complex organization and focus on relationship-building.
- Hybrid work, 2 days a week or 9 days a month work from office.

Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience gained in a large corporate environment, matrixed organization.
- Exposure to reporting, analytics, or workforce-related data.
- Internship experience.
- Experience supporting projects.
- Exposure to talent reviews, performance reviews, promotions, or other people-related processes.
At least one stage of interview process will be in-person at S&P Global London office.
