Join Our Global Portfolio Management Team

Contribute to the success of CBRE Investment Management Indirect Private Real Estate! We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst to support our Global Portfolio Management team in the management of global separate account client portfolios invested in indirect real estate worldwide. This is a critical role offering significant opportunities for professional growth and exposure to all facets of global real estate investment management.

As a Global Portfolio Management Analyst, you will:

  • Support Portfolio Managers: Assist with the day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives for multiple client portfolios.
  • Construct and Monitor Portfolios: Contribute to portfolio construction, ongoing performance monitoring, and reporting.
  • Generate Client Reports and Presentations: Produce high-quality quarterly reports and client presentations, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Manage Client Data: Maintain and update client investment data within investment plans and databases.
  • Track and Analyze Performance: Monitor client and investment performance, identifying key trends and insights.
  • Actively Participate in Client Engagement: Provide timely and accurate responses to global client information requests.
  • Evaluate Investment Opportunities: Participate in fund monitoring and review investment proposals, developing a strong understanding of projected returns and potential portfolio impacts.
  • Collaborate with Key Stakeholders: Engage with regional investment teams, the financial operations team, and Analytics to ensure seamless portfolio management.

Key Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in portfolio management, investment management or accounting (Big Four trained) preferred, ideally within real estate.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Real Estate (or related field) required. Relevant qualifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA, ACA) are a plus.

  • Strong financial modeling, analytical and database management skills.

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, especially under pressure.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
