The job

You will be supporting AVEVA’s Portfolio and Industry Marketing teams by delivering reporting, analysis, and actionable insights to improve marketing performance across product solutions and industry programs. As part of the Marketing Strategy and Analytics team, you will help stakeholders understand performance trends, identify opportunities, and make data-informed decisions that strengthen planning and execution.

This role partners with Portfolio & Industry Marketing, Campaign/Demand teams, Regional Marketing, Sales Operations, and Product stakeholders to maintain consistent performance views and enable effective decision-making.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide actionable insight on marketing performance across key product solutions, solution sets, and industries using repeatable analysis and standardized reporting.
  • Partner with Portfolio & Industry Marketing teams to define, document, and maintain success metrics and reporting requirements.
  • Build and deliver recurring performance reporting (weekly/monthly/quarterly) with clear insights and practical recommendations.
  • Analyze performance of portfolio- and industry-aligned campaigns and marketing tactics and recommend optimizations to improve impact.
  • Support planning and prioritization by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, including ad hoc and “what-if” analysis as needed.
  • Increase adoption and effective use of reporting tools and dashboards within Portfolio & Industry teams through enablement and stakeholder support.
  • Contribute to scalable reporting standards and best practices (definitions, templates, QA checks, documentation) in collaboration with Marketing Ops and Sales Ops.
  • Collaborate with Product teams to understand product roadmap context and incorporate relevant inputs into performance narratives (without owning product strategy)

Essential requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or marketing analytics/operations.
  • Experience with BI and go-to-market systems such as Power BI, Tableau (or equivalent) and Salesforce (or equivalent CRM); familiarity with marketing automation and web analytics tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to data quality.
  • Ability to translate complex analysis into clear insights and concise recommendations.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; comfort working cross-functionally

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
