Global Process Owner, Production Planning & Manufacturing Execution
Position Overview
We are looking for a Global Process Owner, Production Planning & Manufacturing Execution to define, govern and continuously improve our global production planning and manufacturing execution processes. In this global role, you will establish consistent ways of working across regions and manufacturing sites, bringing together business needs, operational priorities and SAP capabilities. You will act as the primary decision authority for the end-to-end process, ensuring it is standardised, scalable, compliant and aligned with our wider business objectives.
Working across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, engineering, maintenance, logistics, procurement, finance and IT, you will help simplify processes, improve performance and enable the successful adoption of global standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and govern the end-to-end global production planning and manufacturing execution process across regions and sites.
- Define and maintain global process policies, controls, design standards and decision-making principles.
- Act as the primary authority for process decisions, including assessing and approving change requests and deviations from the global template.
- Design and document global processes using SAP best practices while reflecting the operational needs of the business.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, harmonise, automate and optimise production planning and manufacturing execution.
- Define and monitor meaningful performance indicators, including planning stability, schedule adherence, production performance, inventory accuracy, quality and compliance.
- Use performance data, site feedback and operational outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
- Partner with global and site teams to support process alignment, adoption and effective change management.
- Act as the link between business and IT, translating operational requirements into effective SAP solutions.
- Lead structured stakeholder communication, facilitate decisions and identify risks early.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business or a related discipline.
- Strong experience in production planning or manufacturing execution within a global or multi-site manufacturing environment.
- Experience with SAP ERP, ideally including SAP S/4HANA Production Planning and Manufacturing and global template implementations.
- At least five years of relevant experience in production planning, manufacturing operations, manufacturing execution, supply chain or process management.
- In-depth understanding of material requirements planning, capacity planning, production scheduling, shop-floor execution, production order management, material consumption, confirmations and production performance.
- Demonstrated experience in process design, governance, standardisation and continuous improvement.
