An exciting opportunity exists for someone who is passionate about the Crushing industry within the mining sector. This newly created position is focused on leading our standard crushing product group including, jaws, cones & impactors. Details about the position and the requirements to be considered for the role are:
Scope
- P&L ownership of crushing product group
- Crushing product line technology
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for the management of the global product group including the global OI, Revenue and EBITA profit and loss.
- Responsible for the development and profitability of the underlying product lines in the product group over their entire life cycle with primary responsibility for Capital OI/CM and secondary responsibility for Service OI/CM.
- Perform market research to determine customer needs as input to development plans for new products and improvements. Driving R&D to establish the product development roadmaps and drive completion and introduction of new or improved products.
- Gather market intelligence, monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for growth organically and through mergers and acquisitions.
- Work with the Region sales organizations to establish strategies and plans for profitable growth in sales of product lines in the product group.
- In collaboration with the Regions define the appropriate staffing for Regional Product Line Managers (RPLMs) to support the product group product lines in each region.
- Establish, maintain and enforce global pricing strategies for the products in the product group to maximize margin while achieving top line OI targets.
- In conjunction with Procurement, Regions and Services Business Line define the appropriate global inventory levels and stocking locations to support Capital and Service sales and customer needs.
- Establish global value chain setup for each product line in the product group including supplier and logistics strategy to ensure competitiveness. Work with Procurement to ensure sourcing plans are updated and available.
- Manage the effective operation of the Industry Sales Support (ISS) function within the Product Group which is responsible for proposal preparation and pricing in response to customer requests for proposal.
- Manage the Engineering function related to the Product Group and collaborate with the head of Standards & Applications to ensure that the engineering activity in the Product Group is driving improved quality, productivity and efficiency.
- In support of the overall life cycle of the product lines in the Product Group collaborate with the Services Business Line to support strategies for profitable Service revenues including spare/wear parts, retrofits/upgrades and services.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering or similar
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Business preferred
- Minimum 10 years experience in the mining industry in mineral processing or related field
- Significant customer interaction experience including sales, commercial negotiations and/or order/project execution.
- Working knowledge of related FLS product lines preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary Range: 1,270,000 DKK - 1,720,000 DKK
