About The Role

As Global Product Manager, you will take end-to-end ownership of Ocean Holidays’ worldwide product portfolio — from product strategy and sourcing through to commercial performance, quality and merchandising.

You will play a key role in shaping and growing our worldwide product offering, ensuring we have the right products, at the right price and through the right supply channels to meet customer demand and support the continued growth of our brands.

This is an opportunity to combine strategic product thinking with hands-on sourcing, supplier management and commercial ownership — identifying new opportunities, strengthening existing partnerships and ensuring our portfolio remains competitive, relevant and commercially successful.

The role will also involve some domestic and international travel, including supplier meetings, trade events and contracting trips.

What will you be doing?

Destination & Product Strategy

  • Own the strategy and development of the worldwide product portfolio ex USA across Ocean Holidays brands.
  • Shape the breadth, quality and mix of our product portfolio to meet customer demand and wider business strategy.
  • Use sales data, customer insight, market trends and competitor activity to identify product gaps, emerging opportunities and areas for growth.

Sourcing & Selection

  • Source and select hotels, villas and ground product across key worldwide destinations.
  • Identify new suppliers, products and partnerships that improve availability, competitiveness, margin and product differentiation.
  • Determine the best supply route across direct contracts, DMCs, bedbanks, APIs and other partners.

Contracting & Negotiation

  • Negotiate competitive rates, allocations, dynamic agreements, overrides, exclusive offers, value-adds and favourable commercial terms.
  • Ensure contracts and commercial terms are accurate, compliant and effectively implemented.
  • Represent Ocean Holidays at supplier meetings, trade events, conferences and contracting trips.

Supplier Strategy & Commercial Performance

  • Build strong supplier relationships and conduct regular supplier performance reviews and negotiations.
  • Work collaboratively with suppliers to improve commercial performance, product quality and the overall customer experience.
  • Monitor product and supplier performance against revenue, margin, growth and conversion targets.
  • Identify areas of underperformance and take appropriate action to improve results across products and destinations.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing and Revenue teams to develop compelling offers, campaigns and product launches.

Product Quality & Customer Experience

  • Monitor product quality, operational performance, customer feedback and NPS.
  • Work with suppliers and internal teams to resolve recurring issues and improve the customer experience.
  • Ensure products continue to meet Ocean Holidays brand and quality standards.

Portfolio Optimisation

  • Regularly review the portfolio and introduce new product where opportunities exist.
  • Optimise, reposition or remove underperforming product.
  • Ensure the portfolio remains competitive, relevant and commercially effective.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
