Role Summary
The Product Manager will bring together a global team drawn from existing Compleat regional teams across Europe first, and other regions, as a second step. They will lead the transformation of the team by embedding a Product Management mindset, adopting Agile and Scrum methodologies, and establishing a clear vision and strategic purpose for Compleat over the next two years.
The role will also be responsible for monitoring the evolution of our automation platforms and frameworks, ensuring Compleat's direction remains fully aligned with FCTG's Order Management automation strategy, product roadmaps, and long-term technology vision. They will drive the product's transition from a regional operational platform to a globally governed product that supports the company's future automation ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Strategy & Vision:
- Define the purpose of Compleat within the company during its remaining lifecycle.
- Determine the core automation processes executed by Compleat.
- Track the evolution of the automation system and framework landscape and maintain a living view of how the strategy should adapt as that landscape changes.
Product Culture Deployment:
- Transform the team into a true Product Team by incorporating all related methodologies and philosophies.
- Ensure seamless integration with other Product Teams, managing roadmaps, sprints, and feedback effectively.

Management:
- Identify team needs and solutions to achieve both collective and individual goals.
- Manage a global team across multiple regions (USA, Europe, Asia), fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Roadmap & Prioritization:
- Own and develop the Product Roadmap.
- Prioritize user and business needs, integrate requirements from other Product Teams.
Integration & Collaboration:
- Ensure effective communication with stakeholders and other streams, sharing visibility and managing dependencies.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development and integration.
Ideal Candidate
- Minimum of 5 years in Product Management.
- Expertise in SAP Compleat or Similar automation systems.
- Prior experience in the travel industry, with specific knowledge of OBT and GDS systems.
- Experience in transforming a team into a Product Culture.
- Experience managing a product through a platform transition.
- Understanding of travel agent processes and workflows is ideal.
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exceptional communication skills with an ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
- Proven leadership and team motivation abilities.
- Confident in addressing complex and challenging topics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in English.
The role is ideally based in London or Barcelona.
