Shape a global portfolio that protects what matters
At Hempel, our coatings help protect people, structures and investments around the world. We are looking for a Global Product Manager to shape our Cellulosic Passive Fire Protection portfolio, connecting customer needs, technical insight and commercial opportunity.
Working across our Hempafire and Hempacore solutions, you will influence portfolio direction, support successful launches and help strengthen the value we deliver to customers globally.
Own a portfolio with global impact
You will turn segment strategy and market insight into clear product priorities, working across functions and geographies to keep the portfolio relevant, competitive and ready for what customers need next.
- Own the global Cellulosic Passive Fire Protection portfolio, including product phase in and phase out
- Develop product roadmaps and positioning that balance performance, cost, application efficiency and customer value
- Build a strong understanding of customer needs and use it to guide portfolio and commercial decisions
Turn innovation into customer value
You will work with technical, commercial, marketing, assortment and sustainability colleagues to move ideas from development to launch with the right evidence and customer story behind them.
- Lead relevant product development and launch projects through Hempel processes
- Ensure solutions are supported by effective testing, approvals and technical packages
- Create clear value propositions and embed sustainability into portfolio and product decisions

Bring your perspective, curiosity and commercial thinking
We are looking for someone who enjoys bringing people together, asking good questions and turning complex information into practical decisions. You do not need to match every preferred point to make an impact in this role.
You will ideally bring:
- At least two years of experience in the chemical industry within an international environment
- Technical knowledge combined with strong business or commercial understanding
- Strong chemical background or relevant product management experience required
- Experience in coatings, Cellulosic Passive Fire Protection or a related technical market is essential
- Experience with global product development, optimisation or launches, plus strong communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills
