About The Job
As Global Product Manager for Digital Services, you will play an important role in developing and scaling our digital service portfolio within Business Unit Hygienic Fluid Handling and Heat Transfer Technologies. Working closely with colleagues across product, technology, commercial and operations, you will help shape product direction and turn customer and business needs into scalable, market-relevant solutions.
You will partner closely with the Head of Technology & Innovation and our Head of Revenue and Go-to-Market for Digital Services, helping connect product development with successful market execution. You will contribute to how we structure and manage our portfolio going forward, with a focus on scaling condition monitoring as a core offering while evolving our broader digital services portfolio. The role includes international travel, with direct engagement with customers, sales companies and partners.
Key responsibilities
- Lead setting the product direction, vision, roadmap, and priorities for digital services together with the teams, covering both existing solutions and the evolving portfolio, with a strong focus on scalability and customer value.
- Work as a hands-on product manager, engaging with customers and supporting commercial efforts to drive adoption and customer value
- Contribute to packaging and pricing discussions from a product perspective, ensuring alignment between product design and value creation
- Support global go-to-market activities together with the leadership team and the Head of Revenue and Go-to-Market
- Contribute to developing the Digital Services Product & Portfolio Management function, including governance and ways of working
- Support strong product market fit and value realization by continuously incorporating feedback from end customers and commercial teams
- Translate business and customer needs into clear product requirements and priorities for technology teams
- Act as a link between product, commercial, technology, and operations to support alignment and execution
- Support the evolution and scaling of our condition monitoring solutions as a key offering and help refine the offering to create more customer value
- Define and track relevant product KPIs, including adoption, usage and value realization, to enable insights for commercial, product and technology teams.
- Contribute with Global Innovation Lead to identifying and shaping new digital service opportunities aligned with strategic growth priorities

At Alfa Laval, we embrace a hybrid work model, providing you the flexibility to work from home when it aligns with your tasks. This position can be based at any of our European office, with an expected travel commitment of approximately 25–35 days per year.
What You Know
- MSc or BSc in a relevant field (e.g. Engineering, Business, or similar)
- 3–5 years of relevant experience from product management, product development, business development or a similar role in a B2B environment
- Experience from an industrial, mechanical, equipment or process-industry environment combined with exposure to digital products, connected solutions, IoT or data-driven services
- A good commercial understanding and interest in how digital products and services create customer and business value
- Experience with condition monitoring, IoT, connected equipment, or data-driven service offerings is an advantage
- Practical understanding of industrial equipment, mechanical systems, process industries, or similar domains
- Experience working closely with customers and cross-functional teams to understand needs and shape solutions
- Ability to combine structured thinking with a practical, hands-on approach
- Good stakeholder management skills and the ability to work across commercial, technical, and operational functions
- Structured and analytical approach, with the ability to prioritize and make trade-offs
- Familiarity with agile or iterative development approaches and an interest in working at the intersection of hardware and digital solutions.

About You
You are a curious and commercially minded product professional with experience from an industrial or mechanical environment and a strong interest in digital solutions. You enjoy understanding customer challenges, translating them into practical product improvements, and working across technical and commercial teams to bring solutions to market. You do not need to be a specialist in SaaS or subscription business models; what matters is that you understand industrial customers and have experience or strong exposure to digital, connected or data-driven products and services.
You combine structured thinking with a hands-on approach and are motivated by the opportunity to grow your product management capabilities in an international environment. You are comfortable engaging with customers, collaborating across functions and taking increasing responsibility as the digital services portfolio develops.
