The Role

A dual-hatted position: own CEIC's global product marketing strategy and execution (with support of regional marketing managers), and lead ISI's buyside marketing strategy for the quant, portfolio management and macro strategy community, drawing on the datasets above.

Who You Are

  • Strategy and execution in equal measure: Equally comfortable setting the go-to-market direction and doing the hands-on work yourself.
  • Agile and mature: Handles shifting priorities and moving targets without losing momentum.
  • Low ego, highly collaborative: Works constantly across product, research, the global marketing team, and sales.
  • Confident in the room: Holds their own with senior leadership at management forums, one day in the room with the executive team, the next in the weeds on a campaign build.
  • Highly communicative: Speaks up early on bottlenecks or where campaigns are converging, rather than letting issues surface late.
  • Proactive idea generator: Brings new ideas to the table, including the use of AI tools to support fast-paced campaign generation — everyone in marketing is encouraged to contribute here.

What You'll Do

  • Own CEIC Global Product Marketing: Lead CEIC's product messaging, positioning, and competitive differentiation across its core use cases and premium databases, translating product and data insights into powerful narratives that position CEIC as a must-have solution — partnering with product, research, and economist teams on new launches and technical topics, and guiding regional marketing managers on the proposition and deployment of the global campaigns you own.
  • Lead the ISI Buyside Marketing Strategy: Design, execute, optimize, and report on the marketing streams of ISI's buyside strategy for the quant, PM, and macro strategy audience, in close collaboration with the other global product marketing leads.
  • Drive Multi-Channel Campaigns: Deliver integrated campaigns across email, organic and paid social, digital advertising, PR, webinars, and events for CEIC and ISI buyside, working with regional marketers to ensure localization and on-time deployment.
  • Own Thought Leadership Distribution: Take receipt of CEIC's weekly thought leadership content from the research team and own its end-to-end distribution across email, social, and web — doing the same for ISI buyside thought leadership, turning research output into structured, multi-channel campaigns.
  • Manage SEO and SEM: Own performance across both ISI buyside and CEIC, with the support of a specialist agency and ISI's Global Martech lead.
  • Co-own the Developed-Markets Events Calendar: Prioritize sponsorships, roundtables, and conferences for CEIC and ISI buyside based on ROI and audience quality, ensuring event-sourced pipeline is clearly tracked and reported with your product marketing leader peers.
  • Fuel Sales Enablement: Arm sales with product one-pagers, persona-specific messaging, and competitive positioning that drive quality MQLs and accelerate deal cycles.
  • Measure and Optimize: Track ISI buyside and CEIC MQL to ACV, campaign, and event performance in HubSpot and Salesforce, reporting on marketing-sourced pipeline impact and refining approach based on data.
  • Global Marketing Reporting: Co-present marketing at the CEIC product steerco, the ISI buyside steerco, and the monthly ISI Marketing Steerco, presenting performance, campaign insight, priorities, and marketing plans to senior leadership.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About ISI

Emerging markets are core to the global economy but complex and opaque. ISI provides global market intelligence, so our clients have the clarity to act decisively.

We've spent over 30 years combining data on economies, industries, companies, capital flows, credit, and liquidity — enhanced with AI — across five product lines:

  • CEIC — Comprehensive global and emerging market macroeconomic data and analytics
  • EMIS — Company and industry insights on fast-growing markets
  • EPFR — Global fund flows and asset allocation intelligence
  • REDD — Actionable intelligence on emerging market special situations
  • iMoneyNet — The industry standard for money market fund data

We serve the buyside, corporates, investment & commercial banks, governments, and professional services firms who need to know which signals to trust in increasingly volatile markets.

ISI is growing fast. We recently completed a global brand refresh to unify our five products under one platform offering, and agentic AI workflows are now central to our roadmap — making this a pivotal time to join and help shape ISI's marketing voice.

Why Join Us?

  • If you're globally minded, intellectually curious, and excited by growth and change, ISI is a place where you can make your mark.
  • Be part of something meaningful — For over 30 years, we've helped shine a light on emerging markets. Today, around 800 colleagues worldwide contribute to that mission.
  • Work with the world, not just in it — Our teams span Latin America, the USA, the UK, Central & Eastern Europe, ASEAN, India, China, and North Asia. Collaboration across borders is part of everyday life at ISI — bringing together diverse perspectives to deliver better outcomes for our clients and richer experiences for our people.
  • Grow your career, not just your role — We create space for talented people to do their best work: real ownership, room to stretch, and the support to turn ambition into achievement. This role also carries a path to Head of Marketing based on performance, as the role and remit grow.
  • A high-visibility seat — Real ownership over ISI's buyside and CEIC marketing strategy and execution, with a genuine voice at the top table as you help shape it.
