Global Product Owner: Conversational Channels

GBP 35.80/hr (Inside IR35)

Warwickshire and Hybrid

12 Months (Maternity Cover)

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Product Owner: Conversational Channels to lead the global strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement of conversational channels for a premium automotive brand. This role is pivotal in shaping effortless, modern luxury digital conversational experiences across a range of iconic vehicle brands.

Responsibilities

Strategy and Vision

  • Develop and own the global vision, strategy, and capability roadmap for Conversational Channels.
  • Define future-state capabilities, including generative and agentic AI use cases.
  • Position the brand as a leader in luxury digital conversational experiences.

Delivery and Execution

  • Lead the global development, launch, and optimisation of chat, WhatsApp, and other messaging and AI-enabled experiences.
  • Drive innovation in generative and agentic AI, transitioning from assisted service to autonomous, brand-safe, and value-generating experiences.
  • Create and maintain the global delivery roadmap and integrated backlog.
  • Ensure governance, prioritisation, and risk management in delivery.
  • Provide leadership to strategic technology and delivery partners, ensuring alignment with brand standards and commitments.

  • Collaborate with global and market cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in global digital product ownership or transformation roles.
  • Strong understanding of conversational platforms and AI-enabled customer experiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver complex, multi-market initiatives.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on delivery capability.
  • Client-obsessed and outcome-focused.
  • Strong advocate for inclusion and ethical AI practices.

Day-to-Day

  • Develop and refine the global strategy for conversational channels.
  • Oversee the delivery and optimisation of AI-enabled conversational experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with global objectives.
  • Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and inspire a team to achieve excellence in delivery and innovation.

Additional Information

This role is on a contract basis and is Inside IR35.

The role is for a 12-month period covering maternity leave.
