What You'll Do
As the Product Owner for Agentic Workforce Automation within Tech@BCG, you will own the product vision and backlog for several agents that shifts common, repeatable tasks across Tech@BCG, spanning Change & Communications, User Research & Design, Enterprise Architecture, and other business-facing functions — onto a non-human, AI-driven workforce. Working in close partnership with AI Engineers, you will identify and prioritize which tasks and workflows are best suited for automation, translate business needs and stakeholder input into clear requirements and acceptance criteria for AI agents, and define the success metrics — throughput, quality, adoption, and cost-to-serve — that prove out the value of shifting work to agents.
You will serve as the primary voice of the business and the end user within the agentic workforce initiative, building and prioritizing a backlog that balances quick wins with longer-term automation opportunities, running discovery with stakeholders across Tech@BCG to surface candidate tasks, and making the call on scope, sequencing, and trade-offs as the platform evolves from event-driven AI capabilities toward increasingly autonomous, multi-agent systems capable of owning end-to-end workflows. You will partner with engineering to shape what "good" looks like for each agent, own change management and adoption across impacted teams, and ensure the pace of automation stays aligned with governance, Responsible AI principles, and the realities of how Tech@BCG actually works.

YOU’RE GOOD AT
- Approaching highly complex, ambiguous automation opportunities in a structured way — proactively driving to solutions, identifying and framing root causes such as unclear ownership or process, and resolving escalated challenges independently while mitigating their broader impact on the business.
- Framing complex and ambiguous information clearly for a range of audiences, and leading conversations and meetings effectively — modulating your style to audience and context, encouraging open dialogue, and developing a narrative that influences both engineering leaders and business stakeholders across Tech@BCG to reach resolution.
- Structuring, planning, and driving a complex, cross-functional backlog that provides leverage to senior leadership; anticipating and managing changing priorities while proactively identifying risks to adoption and developing mitigation plans mindful of broad business impact.
- Partnering effectively with diverse teams and broad networks — AI Engineering, Platform Engineering, Security, and the business-facing teams whose work is being automated — while building and deepening strong stakeholder relationships, seeking to help and develop others, and striking the right balance between advocating for the roadmap and staying open to input.
- Embracing change with adaptability and agility, bringing curiosity and creativity to continually evolve how the team works, while performing with the highest level of integrity and a growth mindset that generates trust across the organization.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline; Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe POPM, or equivalent product/agile certification is a plus
- 10+ years of product management or product owner experience, including demonstrated leadership owning the roadmap and backlog for enterprise-scale platforms (must have).
- Demonstrated experience owning products or platforms involving enterprise AI, Generative AI, or intelligent automation, with a working understanding of agent architectures, model evaluation, and Responsible AI principles sufficient to partner credibly with AI engineering leadership.
- Hands-on experience running discovery with business stakeholders to identify automation candidates, writing user stories and acceptance criteria for AI agents, and defining success metrics (throughput, quality, adoption, cost-to-serve) that hold agentic workflows to the same bar as human-delivered work

Who You'll Work With
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on shifting common, repeatable work across Tech@BCG onto a non-human, AI-driven workforce. You'll partner most closely with the AI Engineer, Senior Manager and their engineering team — pairing your view of business needs and priorities with their technical judgment on what's feasible — and will engage regularly with Platform Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Security, and business-facing Tech@BCG teams to identify automation opportunities, validate requirements, and drive adoption of agentic AI practices across the function.
