Workplace: White City, London - 3 days a week in the office

The role

Our overall team’s vision is to deliver the best global intelligence from brilliant data sets to maximise revenue across Global Sales, Zoo55, Brand Partnerships, Content & Production. Our purpose is to translate our data into forward-looking, meaningful, action-led creative & commercial recommendations to inform content, distribution & monetisation strategies

This is a high-impact, newly created role designed to enable sales of finished tape globally (scripted & unscripted, new & catalogue), formats (new and existing), and new global productions. You will serve as the "Editor-in-Chief" for our global sales narrative, translating complex audience data and marketing assets into a curated set of commercial value propositions.

You will act as the strategic connector between Content, Insights, Marketing, PR and Business Development. You will synthesize the creative expertise of Content, the analytical rigour of Insights, and the ambitions of Business Development into a cohesive narrative that helps Sales teams across ITV Studios close deals with the right set of tools.

Main responsibilities

Proposition Design & Sales Enablement

  • Pitch Asset Suite: Design the commercial logic and best practice templates for sale pitch decks and “cheat” sheets. You take the detailed show information (synopses, bibles, loglines) provided by the Content Teams and apply the commercial layer. You don't rewrite scripts; you refine them into high-level "Battle Cards" and elevator pitches that drive immediate buyer comprehension
  • Target buyers: Develop the ideal buyer profile for new titles enabling sales to prioritise the right commercial discussions across broadcast, streaming and FAST/AVOD
  • Strategic Insight Application: Leverage the full power of the Data & Insights team by proactively commissioning new analysis to support specific sales goals. Whether it is validating a streamer sales forecast, proving "advertising value" for AVOD buyers, or highlighting ITV’s leadership ranking in a specific genre, you determine the data points needed to maximize interest and pricing, then translate that evidence into a killer "Why Buy" narrative for the sales force.
  • Pre-Sale Enablement: Develop specific collateral that allows sales teams to pitch earlier in the lifecycle (Pre-production/Script stage), helping to secure co-productions and pre-sales by visualizing the potential success of a show before it airs.
  • Catalogue enablement: Develop thematic, genre-specific collections (e.g., "True Crime bundles" or "Feel-Good Formats") that respond to specific buyer needs identified with insights & Business Development.
  • Reactive "Hot Lists": Monitor & anticipate global trends (via the Insights & marketing teams) to rapidly create reactive sales sheets. (e.g., “Bridgerton just launched—here is our top 5 Period Dramas available for license now.”)

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
