About the role
The Global QC Excellence senior manager is accountable for the strategic development and continuous improvement of Quality Control capabilities across the Reckitt manufacturing network. Acting as a key partner to site QC leaders, Quality, Supply and manufacturing teams, the role drives the standardisation, optimisation and governance of QC processes to improve operational performance, capability and business outcomes.
The role exists to strengthen QC as a strategic business function by establishing harmonised ways of working, driving continuous improvement and ensuring the effective deployment of global standards and harnessing future technologies. Through close partnership with regional and site stakeholders, the role enables sustainable performance improvements whilst maintaining compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.
In addition to leading global excellence initiatives, the role is responsible for identifying future opportunities to enhance QC operating models, leveraging AI, digitalisation, robotics & automation, performance management, capability development and laboratory effectiveness across the network.

Single point accountability for the development, implementation and sustainment of Global QC Excellence programmes and associated value realisation.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and continuously improve the global QC Excellence strategy aligned with quality and business priorities.
- Lead initiatives to enhance QC laboratory performance, efficiency, compliance, and process quality.
- Drive the implementation of global standards, best practices, and operational excellence frameworks across sites.
- Manage global continuous improvement programmes across multiple regions and laboratories.
- Partner with Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and local QC leadership teams to drive alignment and results.
- Build a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and knowledge sharing across the QC network.
- Monitor performance, identify improvement opportunities, and support effective implementation of changes.
- Engage and influence key stakeholders by communicating programme progress, risks, and business impact.
- Support process harmonisation while considering local operational and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate global forums, workshops, and governance activities to support alignment and decision-making.
The experience we're looking for
- Degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong understanding of QC laboratory operations, GMP, and quality systems.
- Experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, and performance management.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma is an advantage.
- Experience leading complex projects, programmes, or transformation initiatives in a global environment.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work across functions, regions, and cultures in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to delivering change and business impact.
- Familiarity with digital laboratory solutions, automation, or technology-driven improvements is a plus.
