Hexcel: Global Quality Industrial Placement Student

Hexcel is currently seeking a Global Quality Industrial Placement Student for our Duxford, UK location.
Responsibilities
- Support the documentation and maintenance of document management systems (DMS) and quality management systems (QMS).
- Provide support for quality-related projects.
- Support data collection, cleaning, and analysis for quality metrics and performance indicators.
- Assist in quality assurance activities, including the inspection and testing of composite materials.
- Contribute to and support continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing product quality and operational efficiency.
- Help prepare technical reports, procedures, and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quality-related initiatives and audits.
- Assist in monitoring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree (e.g., Engineering, Materials Science, Computer/Data Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline).
- Interest in industry, quality management, and manufacturing processes.
- Basic understanding of composite materials and production techniques is advantageous.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic programming skills are advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
