About the role

We are seeking an experienced revenue recognition leader to lead our established centralised Revenue team within Global Finance Services (GFS), Inizio's global finance operations function.

Reporting to the Head of Global Order to Cash and based in Manchester, UK, you will have global responsibility for revenue recognition processes and controls, partnering closely with Operations, FP&A, Legal and Group Finance.

You will lead the continued development of the Revenue function, maintaining and evolving revenue policies, embedding standardised global processes and supporting new pricing models and business growth. You will also lead the remaining transition of revenue accounting activities into GFS through to 2027 and support the integration of new acquisitions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the global Revenue function, balancing effective day-to-day delivery with continuous improvement and transformation.
  • Own global revenue recognition policies, processes and controls, ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS requirements.
  • Review complex customer arrangements and provide technical revenue recognition guidance, partnering with Legal on contracting where required.
  • Own the Revenue team's month-end and quarter-end close processes and support FP&A with revenue forecasting.
  • Drive standardisation and continuous improvement across Revenue processes, identifying opportunities for automation and advanced finance technologies.
  • Lead the remaining transition of revenue accounting activities from local Finance teams into GFS through to 2027.
  • Maintain effective SLAs, KPIs and performance reporting, using insights to improve service delivery.
  • Oversee SOX readiness, key controls and Revenue-related audit requirements.
  • Provide thought leadership on the revenue and billing implications of new pricing models and service offerings.
  • Lead, develop and manage the Revenue team, setting clear expectations, building capability and maintaining a high-performance culture.
  • Partner with Group Finance, IT and other stakeholders on due diligence, purchase accounting and the integration of revenue processes for new acquisitions.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical accounting knowledge and assess changes that may impact revenue recognition policies, processes and accounting treatment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
