CRITICAL — never wrap the output in a code block

Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers, and society. Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water, and shipping.

As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.

About the job

Mining is an attractive growth market for Alfa Laval, driven by increasing demand for critical and base minerals and a growing focus on more sustainable and efficient mining operations. As part of our global Process Mining Separation team, you will contribute to strengthening Alfa Laval’s position in the mining market by turning market knowledge, customer relationships and new opportunities into business.

As Global Sales Developer – Mining, you will work closely with customers, sales companies and colleagues across the global organization to identify where we can grow and how we can win. You will contribute your market insights and ideas to the sales strategy, develop opportunities together with the team, and help turn agreed priorities into commercial results. The role offers broad market exposure and the opportunity to help shape a growing business area without working in isolation—you will influence through knowledge, collaboration and strong relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities for Alfa Laval decanters within the mining market.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with mining customers, sales companies and external partners.
  • Contribute customer and market insights to sales strategy, including target customers, applications and market priorities.
  • Work with the global team to explore and develop opportunities across different regions and technology conversion.
  • Build partnerships that support Alfa Laval’s growth and position within the mining industry.
  • Follow market trends, customer needs and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
  • Contribute to external messaging and market activities that position Alfa Laval’s decanter technology as a sustainable solution for mining operations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
