Who We’re Looking for

A talented and courageous stock picker with a solid understanding of fundamental research and financial modelling who loves working in a team environment where constructive challenge and diversity of views are highly valued.

The Team

The Global and International Equities team invests in listed equities globally, creating high-conviction portfolios driven by bottom-up stock selection. We also specialise in sector strategies.

As of 31st March 2026, our team manages ~$125 billion.

Our approach relies on:

  • In-depth fundamental research to identify forward-thinking companies.
  • Earnings surprise focus to observe short- and long-term growth potential.

We combine bottom-up analysis with proprietary research on structural themes such as:

  • Demographics
  • Disruptive innovation
  • Climate change

Our portfolios typically exhibit a growth & quality bias.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary source of idea generation for team portfolios, performing bottom-up fundamental stock selection.
  • Collaborate with other in-house analysts, organised regionally by sector, and located near their markets.
  • Analyse company attributes against global sector dynamics to identify the best companies—those delivering forward earnings growth exceeding market expectations.
  • Present stock recommendations during research meetings.
  • Portfolio Managers select high-conviction stocks for portfolio inclusion, with responsibility guided by the Global Sector Specialist but resting with the Portfolio Managers.

  • A thorough grounding in:
    • Fundamental stock analysis
    • Financial modelling
    • Growth-oriented stock selection
  • Real conviction is critical for stock-picking, requiring a keen eye for detail.
  • A proven track record of alpha generation.

  • Experience in analysing the Communications Services Sector.
  • Detailed knowledge of stocks within the Communications Services sector and an understanding of:
    • Factors driving earnings surprise
    • Sector-specific dynamics
  • Understanding of:
    • Equity markets
    • Investing through different market environments.
  • Relevant qualifications such as:
    • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
    • Accountancy degree

What You’ll Be Like

  • A strong team player who thrives in an environment where ideas are developed, debated, and challenged.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and strong advocacy abilities for:
    • Presenting compelling cases
    • Supporting stock recommendations (or against) for inclusion in portfolios.
