About the Role

The Global Senior eCommerce Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the commercial success and digital performance of CT.com. This role is responsible for optimising the strategic trading and promotional calendar through a deep understanding of the consumer, commercial performance, stock position and site experience to maximise conversion, revenue and profitability.

As a Global Senior eCommerce Manager you will:

Team Management

  • Represent and support the Head of eCommerce in senior stakeholder meetings as required.

Trading & Commercial Strategy

  • Work closely with the Head of eCommerce to align strategic priorities, commercial targets and performance goals.
  • Feed ideas and learnings into the trading calendar, challenging whether forward plans provide sufficient opportunity in line with trading performance and supporting the sizing of initiatives.
  • Own recommendations for promotional thresholds, mechanics, best practice and testing to drive specific KPIs, ensuring briefs are accurate and clearly articulate the customer and marketing hook.
  • In partnership with trading colleagues, distill weekly and monthly performance reporting into actionable short- and long-term insights, identifying reporting improvements that shift focus to the actions required.
  • Maintain a holistic view of sales, traffic, conversion, AOV, margin, stock availability and customer behaviour to inform trading decisions.
  • Oversee landing-page analysis, taking channel traffic into account, and align with the eCommerce Assistant Manager on PDP and PLP optimisation priorities and success measurement.
  • In partnership with the Head of eCommerce, build relationships with global commercial partners to optimise calendar activity and unlock global opportunities, including AOV drivers, acting as the key eCommerce contact.
  • Maintain line of sight across site P&Ls, contributing to decisions on commercial levers including shipping, discounting and promotional investment.
  • Maintain visibility of excess and at-risk inventory, contributing ideas to support sell-through and clearance while protecting margin and brand equity.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
