Global Senior Manager, Inside Sales – Strategic Growth

Enterprise Accounts and Channel New Logo Acquisition

This position is open in any SAS office location where the candidate is legally authorized to work and where SAS employs workers.

About The Job

The Global Inside Sales organization is looking for a Global Senior Manager, Inside Sales – Strategic Growth to lead and scale our revenue engine focused on Tier 2 Enterprise Accounts and Channel prospects. This role is responsible for driving predictable pipeline creation, accelerating net new logo acquisition, and ensuring disciplined execution across inside sales teams globally.

Reporting directly to the Global Business Development and Inside Sales leader, you will define growth strategies, lead high-performing teams, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Channel leaders to drive measurable business impact. You will also play a critical role in sales tools adoption, process standardization, and operating excellence, ensuring teams leverage best practices and technology consistently across the organization.


Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager, Inside Sales – Strategic Growth, you will:

  • Lead and develop inside sales teams focused on new software sales, pipeline generation, and net new logo acquisition across Tier 2 Enterprise Accounts and strategic Channel prospects.
  • Build and execute scalable growth strategies that increase pipeline volume, conversion rates, and revenue outcomes.
  • Own the operating rhythm for pipeline reviews, forecasting, activity management, and performance tracking.
  • Establish clear KPIs and performance expectations focused on pipeline creation, qualification, conversion, revenue attainment, and new logo growth.
  • Hire, develop, coach, and mentor inside sales professionals, building a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and performance excellence.
  • Partner closely with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Customer Advisory, Channel Sales, and RevOps to develop campaigns, sales plays, enablement programs, and territory strategies.
  • Provide leadership on territory planning, account prioritization, prospecting strategy, forecasting, and adoption of SAS sales methodologies.
  • Own Inside Sales operational excellence through the implementation, adoption, and governance of sales tools, CRM processes, and standardized sales workflows.
  • Drive consistency in reporting, pipeline management, and business insights through effective use of CRM and analytics tools.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable security policies and processes in support of SAS's secure software development goals.
  • Demonstrate and promote SAS values of curiosity, passion, authenticity, and accountability.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in software, technology, data, analytics, or related sales environments.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience leading, coaching, or managing sales professionals.
  • Demonstrated success driving pipeline generation, new logo acquisition, and revenue growth.
  • Experience managing inside sales or business development teams in a high-growth environment.
  • Strong understanding of strategic sales methodologies, forecasting practices, and pipeline management.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive operational improvements.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms, sales engagement tools, and performance reporting systems.
  • Equivalent education, training, and experience may be considered in lieu of stated requirements.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience selling or leading teams in Enterprise Software, SaaS, AI, Analytics, Data Management, or Cloud solutions.
  • Experience working with indirect sales models, channel ecosystems, or partner-led motions.
  • Experience driving sales tool adoption, process standardization, and operational transformation initiatives.
  • Global or multi-region leadership experience.
