As Global Senior Product Manager – SCS on the Global Strategic Marketing team, you will set global marketing strategy for our spinal cord stimulation (SCS) portfolio and create and execute marketing programs and strategic growth initiatives. You will immediately begin to add value by jumping in and supporting the portfolio across Inceptiv, Intellis Pro, and Vanta. This is a high visibility role which requires broad cross-functional knowledge, strong product launch experience, and comprehensive business management skills. This person will work closely with cross-functional teams and marketing partners in regions across the world and provide direction and leadership for SCS therapies within the organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive product management and launch experience, will be proactive, data driven, and will have experience in a highly regulated, technical environment.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders such as Sales, R&D, Sales Training, Medical Education, Operations, Clinical, Health Economics, etc.
  • Act as SCS marketing leader, subject matter expert, and central point of contact for the broader Medtronic organization in the Western Europe region.
  • Drive market share and clinical adoption by analysing competitor pipelines, identifying product / offering gaps, and creating targeted positioning strategies for our portfolio.
  • Partner to drive global portfolio marketing including annual marketing plan, key messaging/claims/evidence dissemination, competitive strategy, promotional tactics, marketing campaigns, marketing channel utilization, and marketing metrics.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Marketing partners to drive key messaging across multiple marketing channels, including digital/social and academic society meetings.
  • Drive global resources, including new asset creation, existing asset management, and asset utilization planning.
  • Form strong relationships with KOLs, customers, and Sales team; attend medical Society meetings and Medtronic medical education events.
  • Partner with regions on product demand based on market analysis and business strategy, and oversee global new product introductions and legacy product phase outs.

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of marketing or sales experience, or 5 years’ experience with an Master’s degree or equivalent.
  • Prior healthcare marketing experience, ideally in Medical Devices.
  • Product management experience.
  • Critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills.
  • Experience driving results in a highly matrixed organization by collaborating across functional boundaries.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.
