Global Snowflake Platform Lead
Location: Egham (Hybrid – 2/3 days per week)
Salary: £90,000–£95,000 + Benefits and Bonus

A Global Snowflake Platform Lead is required to join a leading international organisation that is continuing to develop and scale its global data platform. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a strategic Snowflake environment already adopted across multiple countries, combining hands-on technical delivery with platform leadership, stakeholder management, and third-party vendor management.
Working across a global data and technology function, you'll help evolve the Snowflake platform, support further international rollouts, and enable data teams to adopt consistent, scalable, and well-governed data engineering practices.

- Own and evolve the global Snowflake platform, supporting its continued development and international rollout.
- Balance hands-on Snowflake engineering with technical leadership, platform strategy, and stakeholder engagement.
- Define and implement standards across development, deployment, security, governance, and platform operations.
- Work closely with global data teams across the UK, US, and Europe to enable adoption and deliver consistent platform capabilities.
- Manage and technically oversee third-party vendors and delivery partners.
Additional Experience & Attributes:
- Strong commercial experience with Snowflake within a data engineering or platform environment.
- Good understanding of AWS and cloud-based data platforms, alongside experience with dbt.
- Experience with DevOps, GitHub, and CI/CD-based development and deployment practices.
- Experience working across global teams, multiple business units, and/or federated technology environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to remain hands-on while operating strategically.
