Who We Are

Boston Consulting Group partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges and capture their greatest opportunities. BCG was the pioneer in business strategy when it was founded in 1963. Today, we help clients with total transformation—inspiring complex change, enabling organizations to grow, building competitive advantage, and driving bottom-line impact.

To succeed, organizations must blend digital and human capabilities. Our diverse, global teams bring deep industry and functional expertise and a range of perspectives to spark change. BCG delivers solutions through leading-edge management consulting along with technology and design, corporate and digital ventures—and business purpose. We work in a uniquely collaborative model across the firm and throughout all levels of the client organization, generating results that allow our clients to thrive.

What You'll Do

The Global Mobility, Staffing, and Workforce Strategy team sits at the heart of many of BCG's key strategic transformations, enabling the firm to execute its comprehensive people agenda and deliver on priorities tied to our client, consultant, and BST value propositions, as well as our broader 2030 Strategy.

You will be part of the Global Staffing Center of Excellence, which plays a central role in advancing BCG's staffing strategy and translating priorities into scalable solutions that improve how staffing works across the firm. In this role, you will lead complex, global initiatives spanning digital products, operating models, and enablement to make staffing more effective for the businesses and people it serves.

Working across regions, businesses, and functions, you will bring structure and momentum to a portfolio of strategic priorities, establishing clear governance and measures of success and building alignment across diverse groups to move initiatives from concept through implementation and adoption.

Job Responsibilities Include

  • Represent staffing on firm-wide and cross-functional initiatives, owning the staffing workstream end to end from inception to launch, engaging regional, local, and SBU stakeholders as needed, and keeping relevant groups informed.
  • Shape and roll out firm-wide staffing policies: identify the need, draft the policy, align with regional and functional stakeholders to secure buy-in, then communicate the change and drive adoption across the firm.
  • Define the approach for extending global staffing platforms like SAM and Team Builder to populations not yet served, partnering with product teams, regional and business stakeholders, and other Global Staffing CoE team members to operationalize the approach.
  • Own the operating rhythm for the Staffing CoE’s portfolio of strategic initiatives, structuring plans and milestones and proactively surfacing risks before they become blockers.
  • Define and monitor KPIs to assess whether tools and initiatives are being adopted and delivering value, feeding results back into future priorities, and partnering with analytics teams on KPI logic and dashboards.
  • Lead our Staffing Working Group, a functional forum stood up to align stakeholders and drive decisions to closure.
  • Own the function’s learning and development journey, working closely with our Regional and SBU counterparts as well as the BST L&D team to keep training aligned with evolving staffing needs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
