Job Overview

As part of the Global Storage team, you will work closely supporting our stakeholders across the business to enable and implement services, infrastructure, and high-performance compute On-prem and Cloud to the engineering community within Arm. To operationally support and improve the services and tools needed for product development in Arm.


Responsibilities

  • Working closely with IT teams, Project Managers, Scrum Masters and the wider Arm business to deliver projects.
  • Operate the Storage Infrastructure by working across geographies and with the wider Service Operations teams to resolve Incidents and fulfil requests within agreed SLAs.
  • Operate the Storage Infrastructure services via Change Management process.
  • Develop and build scalable and efficient large infrastructure through automation and IaC as per approved designs.
  • Build and maintain highly available production systems.
  • Develop, test, review code and maintain internal storage applications.
  • Build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of Storage infrastructure and systems, including cost.
  • Manage the Storage Infrastructure portfolio according to the security policies and controls of Security Operations team.
  • Ensure Identity and Access Management controls are in place and rigorously adhered to Arm security standard processes.
  • Define and monitor Storage infrastructure by setting appropriate thresholds and reacting to event-driven alerts appropriately.
  • Document the current environment and ongoing maintenance of documentation.
  • Solve incidents, identify root causes, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures.
  • Produce and maintain documentation of support processes & resolutions to known operational issues.

Required Skills And Experience

  • DevOps' experience.
  • Experience with Terraform and Redhat Ansible Automation Platform.
  • Python as the preferred programming language.
  • Ability to operate and improve the Storage environment with continuous service improvement, multi-functional teamwork, industry standards, innovation, security and dedication to the best customer experience.

“Nice To Have” Skills And Experience

  • LakeFS expertise.
  • ITIL Foundation v4.
  • Experience on AWS, GCP or Azure.
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
  • GCP Cloud Digital Leader.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals.
  • Customer focused approach.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills (need to be able to confidently explain complex technical matters to senior leaders and technical authorities alike).
  • Ability to work on multiple efforts and not be flustered by changing priorities.
  • Highly motivated to learn, grow and develop yourself and the team!
  • Flourish with finding the right solutions based on the customer requirements and helping to clearly set expectations!
