Global Software Sales Professional – Media & Technology
Location: UK / Hybrid
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 + excellent bonus/commission package
Sector: Software Development / Technology / Media
The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Software Sales Professional to take ownership of relationships with four major global media accounts, working at the highest levels of some of the world’s largest and most influential organisations.
This is not a transactional sales role. You’ll be operating in complex, multi-stakeholder environments, developing relationships across major corporates and identifying opportunities where software development, technology and digital solutions can deliver significant commercial value.
You’ll need to be comfortable speaking to senior technical, commercial and business stakeholders, understanding complex requirements and navigating long, consultative sales cycles to secure high-value opportunities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing and growing relationships across four major global media accounts
- Developing strategic relationships with senior decision-makers across large international organisations
- Identifying new software development and technology opportunities within existing accounts
- Building relationships across a broad range of stakeholders, from technical and engineering teams through to commercial, procurement and senior leadership
- Understanding complex business challenges and positioning bespoke software and technology solutions
- Developing account strategies and long-term growth plans
- Managing complex, high-value sales opportunities from initial engagement through to commercial negotiation and close
- Working closely with software development, technical and delivery teams to develop compelling solutions
- Expanding relationships across multiple divisions, territories and stakeholder groups
- Representing the business at a highly senior level with some of the world's biggest organisations

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate a strong track record of high-level B2B technology sales into major corporate organisations.
Ideally, you'll have experience selling:
- Software development or software solutions
- Technology solutions into the media or television industry
- Broadband, connectivity or digital technology
- Consumer electronics
- Industrial technology or complex engineering solutions
The industry background is flexible for the right person. What really matters is the level and complexity of the sales environment you've operated in.
You'll ideally have experience of:
- Selling complex technology or software solutions rather than transactional products
- Working with large enterprise/global accounts
- Building relationships with multiple stakeholders and decision-makers
- Engaging at C-suite, director and senior management level
- Managing long and consultative sales cycles
- Developing existing strategic accounts as well as identifying new opportunities
- Selling solutions where there is a significant technical and commercial element
- Working across international markets and large corporate structures

The Person
You'll be a confident, credible and commercially astute salesperson who can operate comfortably in a boardroom as well as with technical specialists.
We're particularly interested in people who are:
- Strategic – able to understand the wider business and identify where technology can create opportunities.
- Consultative – capable of uncovering complex requirements rather than simply selling a predefined product.
- Commercially driven – motivated by winning significant, high-value opportunities.
- Relationship-led – able to build genuine, long-term relationships across multiple levels of a global organisation.
- Technically credible – comfortable discussing software, technology and complex solutions with technical stakeholders.
- Tenacious – able to navigate long sales cycles, multiple decision-makers and complex procurement processes.
