Snap Inc is a technology company. We believe the camera presents the greatest opportunity to improve the way people live and communicate. Snap contributes to human progress by empowering people to express themselves, live in the moment, learn about the world, and have fun together.

The Company operates Snapchat, a visual messaging app that enhances your relationships with friends, family, and the world, and Specs Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary dedicated to making computing more human, in addition to Bitmoji, Saturn, and other digital services.

The Creative & Marketing organization brings Snap’s brand to life in culture and partners closely across the business and with external collaborators to deliver creative excellence at scale. Within that, the Brand team exists to ignite the Snapchat brand to drive culture and growth. The team leads some of the most foundational work across the business, including brand strategy and positioning, brand platforms and campaigns, brand storytelling, stewardship, core narratives, toolkits, and the systems that help keep Snapchat consistent across channels and markets. This team also partners with local and cross-functional teams on major priority briefs, helping ensure the work is strategically sharp, creatively ambitious, and unmistakably on brand.

We are looking for a Strategic Planner, Global Brand to help shape Snapchat’s role in people’s lives, culture, and the world. Working within the Global Brand team, you will turn audience insight, cultural signals, competitive context, and business challenges into clear strategic direction for priority brand work. You will develop distinctive points of view, lead strategic briefs, guide creative thinking, and translate global brand strategy into actionable direction for teams, markets, and partners. The ideal candidate is a curious, culturally fluent strategist who can move from insight to idea, bring clarity to ambiguity, and make complex thinking simple, compelling, and actionable.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop insight-led strategy

    • Synthesize audience, cultural, competitive, market, and brand-performance signals into clear insights and strategic opportunities.
    • Shape the role Snapchat can play across priority audiences, cultural moments, and brand initiatives.
    • Develop distinctive points of view that connect business ambition, audience needs, and brand opportunity.
    • Turn complex inputs into focused strategic choices that inspire stronger brand and creative work.
  • Lead strategic briefs and creative thinking

    • Lead strategic planning for priority global brand platforms, campaigns, narratives, and cultural initiatives.
    • Write focused, creatively generative briefs that define the problem, audience, opportunity, brand role, and strategic proposition.
    • Partner with Creative, Brand Marketing, Insights, and agencies to develop work that is strategically grounded, distinctive, and culturally relevant.
    • Provide strategic guidance throughout creative development, helping strengthen ideas while protecting the core strategic intent.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
