About the Role
As a Global Strategic Marketing Manager at Lexington Medical, you will shape how surgeons and hospitals see our AEON surgical stapling portfolio, from messaging and launches to the website. Working closely with the CEO and commercial leadership, you will turn marketing direction into campaigns, launch programs, and sales tools for a business that sells in roughly 40 countries, and keep that work moving across sales, product, and operations.
Responsibilities
- Build and run the global marketing plan, translating strategic direction into positioning, messaging frameworks, and market by market priorities across the U.S., Europe, and international distributor markets.
- Develop and maintain AEON positioning and the core value story, and keep it consistent across sales materials, the website, digital channels, and trade shows.
- Gather voice of customer insight from surgeons, OR staff, and hospital value analysis stakeholders, and track competitor messaging, so leadership, sales, and R&D hear what the market is saying.
- Coordinate global product launches, building the launch plan and keeping regulatory, quality, supply chain, clinical training, and sales readiness on schedule in each market.
- Develop the global marketing toolkit (value story, clinical evidence summaries, launch kits, training content) that regional sales teams and distribution partners adapt locally.
- Own digital marketing through agencies, contractors, and freelancers, including the website, SEO and AI search visibility, LinkedIn, and digital campaigns: set priorities, manage scope and budget, and hold vendors to quality and deadlines.
- Run the commercial operating rhythm: prepare agendas and materials for leadership and sales leadership meetings, capture decisions and owners, follow up until items are closed, and flag risks early.
- Plan Lexington's presence at surgical conferences and trade shows, and take on special marketing projects for the CEO and commercial leadership as priorities shift.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, life sciences, or a related field.
- 4 to 7 years of experience in marketing or product marketing.
- Experience developing positioning and messaging and bringing it to market through a product launch, campaign, or rebrand, including coordinating the cross-functional work behind it.
- Experience managing digital marketing agencies or contractors (website, SEO, social, or paid campaigns), with enough hands-on knowledge to direct the work and judge its quality.
- Excellent writing and a strong eye for content; you can turn a technical product story into clear, compelling messaging for surgeons, hospital buyers, and sales teams.
- Reliable follow-through with senior stakeholders, including the confidence to chase commitments from sales leaders and executives without losing the relationship.
- You use AI tools daily to move faster on research, drafting, and analysis, you know when to trust the output and when not to, and you have built at least one AI-assisted tool or workflow that you or your team relies on.
- A track record of learning new markets, products, and clinical areas quickly, and of good judgment about what to escalate and what to handle yourself.
- Ability to travel up to 25%, including international travel to surgeon sites, distributors, and conferences.
- Medical device or healthcare experience, an MBA, surgical or OR exposure, or experience marketing in international or distributor markets is a plus.
