Role: Global Strategic Talent Scout
Location: Frimley, Camberley, Surrey, GU16 7SR
Duration: 12 months (37.5 hours per week)
Start date: ASAP
Required:
- Relevant experience in executive search, senior talent acquisition, talent research, or leadership sourcing in a multinational organization or search firm.
- Experience delivering cross-border searches for senior, specialist, or scarce-skill roles.
- Strong expertise in talent mapping, market research, direct sourcing, passive-candidate engagement, and pipeline management.
- Ability to translate business needs into focused search strategies and clear talent recommendations.
Description:
The Global Strategic Talent Scout identifies and engages high-quality external talent for strategic Level 5-6 roles requiring global profiles. The role delivers proactive search and talent mapping across priority markets, builds pipelines for future hiring and succession needs, and provides clear market insight to support talent decisions. Initial focus areas include Quality, MSAT, ASAT, Engineering, and Supply Chain Management across India, China, the USA, and selected European countries.

Key responsibilities:
- Deliver proactive search and engagement for strategic Level 5-6 roles requiring global candidate profiles.
- Translate business requirements into clear target profiles, search plans, and priority markets.
- Identify and engage passive talent across India, China, the USA, and selected European countries.
- Build pipelines for Quality, MSAT, ASAT, Engineering, and Supply Chain Management roles.
- Assess candidate experience, motivation, availability, and mobility, and provide clear recommendations.
- Maintain a professional, inclusive, and responsive candidate experience.
- Conduct talent-mapping exercises to assess talent availability, market depth, competitor talent, and location options.
- Create and maintain reusable talent maps and external pipelines for hiring and succession priorities.
- Highlight pipeline strengths, gaps, and market constraints, with practical recommendations.
- Turn research into concise, decision-ready talent insight.

Key requirements:
- Experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, or another regulated global sector.
- Knowledge of Quality, MSAT, ASAT, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management talent markets.
- Experience sourcing in India, China, the USA, or European markets.
- Additional language capability relevant to the priority markets.
- Experience supporting succession-focused talent mapping.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and constructively challenging assumptions with evidence.
- Sound judgment when handling confidential candidate and succession information.
- Strong capability with applicant tracking systems, professional networks, search platforms, and research tools.
- University degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Fluent English.
