The Role

As a F&B Global Supply Planning Specialist and Inventory Manager (m/w/d), you will establish the inventory strategy for the full F&B division. You will implement it in partnership with operations and supply chain teams. Additionally, you will further improve the S&OP Process for the F&B Division. You will work with Global & Regional Functions, including Supply & Demand, Controlling, Manufacturing, Procurement and Fragrances Ingredients Business, and GBS Supply Planning.

Possible working locations: Vernier (Switzerland), Ashford (UK), Baierbrunn (Germany), Jigani (India), Budapest (Hungary).

Travel requirements: up to 10% of the time - worldwide.

Inventory Management

  • Define and lead the Global F&B Inventory Strategy and Inventory Budget in collaboration with regional supply chain teams.
  • Recommend and monitor optimal inventory levels across the supply chain to achieve customer service, inventory, and CDI targets, and drive corrective actions when needed.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and deployment of the F&B S&OP process and support Global Executive S&OP preparation.
  • Improve inventory management efficiency through enhanced processes, tools, projections, and planning parameter governance, including safety stock optimization.
  • Prepare and lead Global Inventory Reviews, maintain Inventory Guidelines, and share best practices across regions.

Supply Planning Transformation & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead continuous improvement programs on Fragrances and Beauty Global Supply planning processes transformation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and transformation initiatives across Givaudan Supply Planning tools and processes to increase standardization, efficiency, and performance, in collaboration with GBS and SOLEX teams.
  • Guide planning parameters strategy definition and optimization.
  • Lead Digitalization projects, including systems enhancement, automation, reporting, and data quality improvements.
  • Manage Supply Planning projects and promote best practice sharing and continuous improvement across teams.

  • Engineering degree – MSc in a technical field.
  • At least 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations or Controlling function, including 3+ years in a regional or global leadership position.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated proficiency in Demand & Supply management, Inventory Optimization with an understanding of their Financial and Operational impacts.
  • Advanced proficiency in complex data analysis using Excel, and BI tools.
  • Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement certification; black belt beneficial.
  • Able to work in a matrix environment and to talk with diverse partners.
  • Fluency in English.
