Electrification Supply Quality Leader
Role Summary
The Electrification Supply Quality Leader is responsible for owning and governing the Supply Quality standard across GE Vernova's Electrification Segment. The role plays a central part in linking supplier quality performance and corrective actions to the Zero Defect Framework, ensuring systemic issues are addressed at the source and preventive actions are embedded across the supply base.

- Own the Supply Quality standard and governance framework, including minimum qualification criteria across Electrification and the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process.
- Own governance of Supplier Inspection processes, including source inspection criteria, incoming inspection standards, inspection plan requirements, and consistent deployment across suppliers and commodities.
- Ensure Supply Quality policies are deployed effectively and kept current with business and sourcing requirements and priorities.
- Enforce a zero-tolerance policy on critical quality concerns and drive proactive resolution of systemic supplier issues, with clear linkage to the Zero Defect Framework.
Scorecard Architecture & Reporting
- Own the scorecard architecture, defining common KPIs and data sources, and lead continuous improvements within Quality Suite.
- Own segment-level reporting on supplier Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ), recovery dollars, top Pareto issues, and associated improvement plans.
- Ensure Supply Quality KPIs remain relevant from a central, Product Line, and local standpoint, implementing new metrics as needed.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
