Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Global Talent Manager to join us at Rotork in Bath, to help shape the future of our organisation by building the leadership, capability and talent pipelines that will drive our long-term success. You’ll play a key part in ensuring we have the right people, in the right roles, ready for the opportunities and challenges ahead. From talent and succession planning to performance management and leadership development, you'll help create a high-performing culture where people can grow, thrive and achieve their potential.

This is a standalone role, reporting into the Chief Human Resources Officer.

Key Responsibilities

As Global Talent Manager, you'll lead and evolve our talent, succession and performance approach, helping leaders make confident, evidence-based people decisions that strengthen organisational capability and accelerate business performance.

  • Lead our global talent, succession and performance strategy, ensuring strong pipelines for leadership, technical and critical roles while identifying and proactively managing talent risks.
  • Shape how we identify, develop and accelerate talent by evolving our succession, performance and talent review frameworks, enabling fair, evidence-based talent decisions and clear pathways for growth and progression.
  • Partner with senior leaders, HR and Talent Acquisition to anticipate future capability needs, strengthen internal mobility and deliver talent strategies that support long-term business success.
  • Work with the wider team to connect with wider engagement and cultural initiatives, evolving our integrated people agenda that builds organisational capability and drives business success.

Qualifications

You? Please note that this is not a Talent Acquisition position.

  • Full right to work in the UK without the need of future sponsorship
  • Resides within a commutable distance of our Bath office
  • Previous experience having worked in a dedicated Talent Management team within a large organisation
  • Responsible for succession planning or performance programmes and engaging with senior stakeholders though said process
  • Expertise of talent assessment, performance management and succession methodologies, with the ability to identify, develop and accelerate future leaders.
  • Demonstrated success building trusted relationships to influence and challenge leaders, to make talent and people decisions.
  • Proven ability to lead global initiatives, and balance multiple priorities, delivering high-impact results in a fast-paced environment.
