Global Technology Engineer – Equipment Standardisation (Filling, Capping & Upstream)

We are Reckitt, home to the world’s best-loved and trusted brands in hygiene, health, and nutrition. Our purpose drives us: "to protect, heal and nurture in the relentless pursuit of a cleaner, healthier world." As a global team united by this mission, we seek to ensure access to the highest-quality products is a right, not a privilege.

Our role sits at the heart of supply chain excellence, delivering trusted brands to people worldwide. If innovation, collaboration, and sustainable solutions excite you, this opportunity offers the perfect platform.

About the Role

Location Options:

  • Hull (UK)
  • Bangplee (Thailand)
  • Wilson (USA)

The Global Technology Engineer for Equipment Standardisation will lead the development, deployment, and standardisation of automated filling, capping, and upstream systems across our global production facilities (across all categories and geographies). Your focus will be on raising the standard of equipment performance—ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance—while driving continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with factories, cross-functional SMEs, procurement, and vendors to define best practices, reduce costs, and mitigate risks. By aligning your work with regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP, FDA, MHRA, EU FMD), you will ensure our factories operate with the latest technical and operational excellence.

Your Responsibilities

Equipments Standardisation & Strategy:

  • Engage with cross-functional technical experts to establish and enforce global standards for filling, capping, and upstream equipment across products, regions, and sites.
  • Embed equipment standards into the CAPEX approval process, ensuring all purchases and upgrades align with established protocols.
  • Collaborate with procurement to build a preferred vendor pool for filling, capping, and upstream systems, supporting tender processes.

Vendor Collaboration & Technology Deployment:

  • Work closely with system integrators, vendors, and OT/IT teams to deliver new installations, upgrades, and innovations.
  • Develop specification documents (URS) and performance standards for new equipment, ensuring they prioritise efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Deliver and assist on high-value CAPEX projects (site selection, vendor progress monitoring, FAT/SAT, etc.).

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
