In addition to operating a forklift, the role requires a high level of administrative accuracy, including processing despatch documentation, updating stock and logistics systems, producing operational reports, and liaising with internal departments and external carriers.

This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, supporting production schedules, maintaining excellent housekeeping standards, and delivering a high level of service to both internal and external customers.

  • Use handheld scanning devices to accurately record all parcels and pallets received for despatch and transfer the scanned data into the despatch management system to generate driver paperwork.
  • Ensuring the safe loading of all parcels and pallets onto the delivery vehicles within scheduled collection times to ensure we meet our client Global SLAs.
  • Ensuring that drivers are provided with accurate delivery paperwork.
  • Monitor daily despatch volumes and liaise with carriers to upsize or reduce vehicle requirements in line with operational demand.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for carriers regarding vehicle arrivals, driver issues, or delivery-related concerns, escalating operational issues to management where appropriate.
  • Identify, investigate, and communicate any campaigns that are incomplete or not ready for despatch, ensuring Global account management team are informed promptly.
  • Produce a daily despatch report for the morning operational meeting, detailing despatch volumes, discrepancies, delivery issues, non-delivery exceptions, and any other operational concerns requiring attention.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, carriers, Global Client account team, and internal departments to support excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Support the Delta Logistics operation as and when required, including:
    • Stock Control: Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular stock counts, investigate discrepancies, and update stock records in a timely manner.
    • Material Handling: Safely operate a forklift (where authorised) to move materials throughout the warehouse and between the D1, D2, and D3 production areas.
    • Production Support: Deliver raw materials to, and collect finished products from, printing and finishing machines to maintain production flow and schedules.
    • Warehouse Standards: Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse and external yard areas, ensuring they meet housekeeping, health and safety, and showroom presentation standards.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve logistics processes, operational efficiency, and service performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company Health & Safety policies, warehouse procedures, and quality standards always.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
