About this opportunity

We are seeking a Global VP of Research Client Partnership to join us on a 12-month maternity leave cover. In this temporary global role, you will lead our strategic research initiatives and client relationships across the Automotive, Technology, and CPG verticals.

Partnering closely with major brands and media teams, you will deliver innovative measurement solutions, build compelling thought leadership, and demonstrate the tangible ROI of digital media investments during this critical cover period.

What you will do

  • Drive Strategic Partnerships: Establish and grow consultative relationships with Global media, CMI, and brand teams, partnering closely with our global account teams and the Client-side Head of Media.
  • Lead Research & Measurement: Spearhead client research activity globally. Design specific, innovative measurement solutions to improve client business KPIs, track investments, and demonstrate ROI.
  • Deliver Actionable Insights: Set up research learning agendas, coordinate market rollouts, and translate complex data into meaningful analysis that addresses key business hypotheses.
  • Shape Thought Leadership: Produce compelling thought leadership pieces for client presentations, participate actively in QBR sessions and client workshops, and represent Teads at major industry events.
  • Establish Industry Standards: Build measurement norms and guidelines at both the client and industry levels, elevating successful case studies to drive best practices.
  • Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ensure seamless internal communication of learnings and maintain strong reporting relationships with key stakeholders across management, STA, sales, marketing, innovation, studio, and data teams.

What will help you succeed

  • Industry Expertise: 15+ years of relevant experience within a research agency, media vendor, or similar environment.
  • Digital & Programmatic Knowledge: Strong understanding of digital media measurement and the programmatic advertising ecosystem, including a working knowledge of DSPs, DMPs, and SSPs.
  • Measurement Acumen: Deep knowledge of audience measurement and ad effectiveness principles, with experience utilizing vendors such as Nielsen, Comscore, and Kantar.
  • Strategic Storytelling: Proven ability to build business-driven, creative insights and act as a strong storyteller who can turn data into strategic business impact.
  • Global Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate cross-departmental dependencies and build relationships across multiple time zones.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint for running basic analytics, alongside experience using BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker).

Preferred experience

  • Previous experience working with Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM).
  • A working understanding of attention measurement.
  • Knowledge of how cookie erosion impacts digital measurement challenges and strategies.
