Job Description

Global Workplace Project Manager

Location: Any of our Ramboll offices in the United Kingdom

Do you have extensive experience in the delivery of large-scale office relocation projects? Are you passionate about creating innovative, and exciting workplaces that can add real value to our business?

Ramboll is looking for an experienced Project Manager to deliver global workplace projects in collaboration with contractors, colleagues, key stakeholders, and enablement functions.

If this fits your experience and you’re curious to learn more, then this role could be the perfect opportunity.

Your new role

As our new Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for the delivery of global Workplace projects in accordance with the PMO’s methodology and governance model. This role drives project management excellence across all assignments. You will collaborate closely with Regional and Country Leadership Teams, Global Finance, Global IT, and the wider Workplace function.

The role will involve project delivery both virtually and physically in a wide range of environments, across international locations, with projects related to office relocations, refurbishments, M&A integrations, workplace technology platforms, and workplace experience initiatives. You will engage with senior stakeholders across multiple functions and business areas globally to deliver best-in-class projects.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Lead the delivery of complex projects across Ramboll’s global portfolio (international travel may be required).
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, health & safety requirements, and local regulations.
  • Lead project governance activities, including steering committees and stakeholder reporting.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Manage and coordinate consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to successfully design, plan, and execute projects.
  • Partner with Design & Construction peers to seamlessly deliver new office spaces, expansions, re-stacks, and moves.
  • Regularly engage with senior stakeholders and project teams to ensure business case objectives and deliverables remain aligned, relevant, and on track.
  • Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of PMO standards and methodologies.
  • Manage project change control processes and evaluate impacts to scope, budget, and programme.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
