Gluing Machine Operator (Folder Gluer)
Location: Cambridgeshire
Salary: £36,000 - £43,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent
Shifts: Rotating shift pattern (2-week rotation)
Working Days: Monday to Thursday
Shift Pattern
- 2 weeks: 06:00 - 16:00
- 2 weeks: 16:00 - 02:00
Rotating on a continuous basis
Overtime available at enhanced rates
The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Gluing Machine Operator to join our client's production team in Cambridgeshire. This is a permanent role offering competitive pay, excellent shift patterns, and opportunities for overtime.

Key Responsibilities
- Make-ready, set up, and run a folder gluer machine
- Maintain machine speeds and production output to agreed targets
- Lead, support, and develop members of the production team
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are fully adhered to
- Achieve all preventative maintenance targets and report issues promptly
- Maintain high standards of quality and efficiency at all times
- Demonstrate full knowledge and understanding of folder gluer machinery

Key Requirements
- Proven experience operating a folder gluer / gluing machine
- Strong understanding of machine setup, running, and troubleshooting
- Ability to lead and motivate a small team
- Strong focus on health & safety and continuous improvement
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work rotating shifts
