About the role

The General Manager, Europe is accountable for the long-term health, growth, and operating performance of Crunchyroll's business across the region. As Crunchyroll's senior business leader in Europe reporting into Crunchyroll’s Chief Operating Officer, the GM brings together commercial leadership, regional operations, growth, partnerships, communications, localization, and fan engagement – at the regional level – into a single operating model focused on delivering sustainable business performance.

Europe is a market of meaningful scale for Crunchyroll, with an established business and infrastructure as well as significant opportunity for continued growth. The GM will be responsible for accelerating growth by optimizing existing levers while identifying, testing, and scaling new opportunities across the region.

The GM will also ensure that local insights from teams closest to the market inform broader business decisions, creating a clear path for regional consumer trends, market dynamics, and commercial opportunities to shape Crunchyroll’s strategy and priorities.

Key Accountabilities

  • Regional Business Performance: Own Europe's commercial performance and long-term growth, including subscriber growth, engagement, retention, lifetime value, revenue, and operating performance.
  • Regional Strategy & Expansion: Set the regional strategy, strengthening established markets and expanding across Europe.
  • Membership & Fan Growth: Accelerate membership and fan growth through engagement, retention, and partnering with global teams to unlock the region's highest-impact opportunities.
  • Operational Excellence: Lead Europe as an integrated regional business with clear priorities, operating rhythms, accountability, and strong cross-functional execution.
  • Fan & Partner Success: Build locally relevant fan experiences and strategic partnerships that expand Crunchyroll's reach and brand affinity.
  • Organizational Leadership: Build and develop a high-performing regional organization with a culture of collaboration, accountability, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Europe Business: Translate enterprise strategy into regional priorities, operating plans, investments, and execution that drive sustainable growth and business performance.
  • Drive Market Expansion: Identify and prioritize high-fandom, underpenetrated markets.
  • Operate the Region: Lead Brand & Community, Growth, Communications, Localization & Regional Content Operations, Business Operations, and Partnerships & Partner Management as one integrated regional team.
  • Represent the Voice of Europe: Bring regional consumer insights, market dynamics, and opportunities into enterprise planning and decision-making.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Execution: Partner with Product, Engineering, Membership Performance, Content, Commerce, Finance, Data, Legal, and other enterprise teams to align priorities and remove barriers to regional growth.
  • Champion the Fan Experience: Bring marketing, localization, communications, partnerships, community, and product launches together to deliver authentic, locally relevant fan experiences.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
