Role: GNME Functional Consultant (GE Smallworld)
Location: Reading/Havant/Perth (UK)

Hybrid 2 days weekly from office
Must Have Skills:
- GE Small World
- GNME 5.3.x solutions
Nice to have skills:
- Azure DevOps or Git
- Basic understanding of scripting or configuration (e.g. Magik, SQL, or similar)
Responsibilities:
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document functional requirements
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories for development teams
- Work closely with Developers to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly
- Support solution design, ensuring alignment with GNME capabilities and best practices
- Configure and validate GNME functionality (e.g. workflows, data capture processes, validation rules)
- Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Support incident and problem management by analysing functional issues and identifying root causes
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimise business processes
- Produce and maintain documentation including process flows, configuration guides, and user manuals
